Dentists are widely perceived as working with archaic equipment, long needles, and cranky staffs, all of which adds up to pain in your mouth and in your wallet.
I offer you high-tech dentistry that saves you time and money in the dental chair.
You can leave my office with a smile you love – in just one visit!
My procedures on one-visit restorations are featured on ABC’s “American Healthguard” and “The Wellness Hour.”
If you haven’t been to the dentist in the last five years, first of all, you’re not alone. Most people take better care of their cars than their teeth, which makes no sense, because it’s tough to eat corn with a Honda.
Well the good news is that you are going to be pleasantly surprised when you visit our office! Technology today is radically different from just a few years ago. We now serve our patients with a stunning range of high-tech, cutting-edge technologies that minimize the pain and invasiveness of the past.
Teeth are fixed and even replaced in just hours, painlessly, while the materials we use are natural-looking and healthier for the body. I believe we are here to serve you, keep your mouth’s healthy and clean, your bodies disease-free, and your kisses long and lingering.
Don’t get me wrong. Like most people, I would rather be snorkeling in Hawaii than lying on my back getting a root canal. So it’s time you put your fears and old-fashioned ideas away and let us give you the healthy smile you deserve.
I feel and important part of being a dentist is keeping up with all of the latest research and techniques. I spend over 100 hours a year on continuing education. I also spend part of my professional time teaching others. I have now served as a dental consultant for over 10 years, committed to raising the level of care in our profession.
Let me give you a little background on myself. I was raised right here in the South Bay. I graduated from El Segundo High School in 1988. I went to undergraduate school at the University of California at San Diego. During my time at UCSD I played on the Triton baseball team. I was an economics major at the time when one of my teammates headed off to dental school, sparking my first interest in dentistry.
I gained my dental degree at the University of the Pacific in 1996. That same year I met my partner Benjamin Cravatt and started working for Torrance Dental Arts. In 2000, we built our current office which allowed us the space to have dental specialists right in our own office. Over the years we have added an Orthodontist, Oral Surgeon, Periodontist, Endodontist and Prosthodontist to our team. The new office also provided space for an in-house lab technician for customized restorations the same day. In an effort to enhance our patient care, we added my brother and current partner to the team as well. He has dedicated his life to the care of our patients.
My life outside of dentistry is focused on my four boys, Cooper, Colby, Riley and Jax. I enjoy sharing my love of sports with the boys. Baseball, basketball and football take up much of our time, but we also love to get away to the river and the snow and carve it up when we can.
